From the Rochester NY area. Older adult learner, began with fiddle 5 years ago, then added guitar, mandolin next.

I’m over seventy years of age with no musical background and now I’ve decided to learn music; the chromatic button accordion to be precise. I floundered for 3-4 years and finally found a teacher, which has been a great help.

I’m a retired person who only started playing fiddle at age 60. After a lifetime of feeding Irish musicians, I decided to try playing the fiddle after I taking my grandson to Suzuki violin lessons at age 3.

I live in the finger lakes area. I’m a beginner/novice fiddle player.

Tenor Banjo (CGDA), Irish Tenor (GDAE), the mandolin, messing around with the 5 string banjo claw hammer style. I haven’t practiced my (CGDA) tenor enough as working with the irish tenor and mandolin a lot.
