Play mandolin and some fiddle

It’s George Hampton and I love Celtic Sessions. I’m going to get a Mandocello in a few months and once I develop some skill on it I’d love to join the Session. I’ll be in touch once I get it to get some music from you folks.

From Buffalo, NY, play guitar for 30 years, and picked up a mandolin/bouzouki/bodhran 8ish years ago. Also a little harmonica… Play/sing in a folk/trad band called Crikwater.

I started off learing the banjo and guitar but soon fell for the fiddle. I still consider myself a beginner but I’ve taken enough music lessons to learn to read music so I’m really happy to find this site, the great tunes and sheet music.

I’ve just started playing at sessions in November of 2014. I typically play guitar, and want to learn to improve and also not step on other players, so that I am providing good rhythm without overpowering the melody.
