I live in South Slocan, BC, Canada. I play Highland Bagpipes, Scottish Small Pipes, and Reelpipes Pipes. I tinker with penny whistles and guitar.

Started playing tin whistle just over a year ago and currently play with a few friends; mostly jamming Irish trad tunes. I’ve recently started dissecting accordions and have successfully revived a few. may take the plunge and start learning the button.

I wouldn’t consider myself a flexible proffesional on any instrument but I play bass, electric guitar, accoustic, piano and keys with native instruments software and mess around on accordion, banjo, ukelele and harmonica and I sing.

I’m Jonny come lately to the fiddle world. Picked it up 8 years ago when Long John Cooper said, in his characteristic gutteral, “You find a case for that fiddle and I’ll give it to you.” I live in the SE corner of British Columbia, Canada.

My Grandparents left Ireland for England at the turn of the 18th/19th century after enlisting in the forces, and later their children joined the forces for the 1st World War. Most died.

Learning whistle and low whistle right now, they are so simple and portable. I fiddle a bit, poorly..but I seem to keep living in tents and boats which is hard on it, so it tends to stay stored away where I don’t play enough. Maybe someday soon.
