My name is Sabine. I have been playing Irish trad. fiddle for more than 30 years. No classical background. My main influence was Gerry “fiddle” O’Connor who taught the fiddle at several workshops in Germany. Some of them I organiced.

In my early 60ies, in southern Germany, with a varied musical biography (after travelling extensively through Appalachia in the early 70s): guitarist/5string banjo in a country band, blues harp in a blues band for ten years in the 90s.

I am Sedi from Bischberg (near Bamberg) in Germany and play the whistle for quite some time but ITM only for about 2.5 years. I also play/played guitar and a little bluesharp.
