Born Belfast now living in Kent, England. Playing mandolin, mandola, guitar and, not yet fit for human or animal consuption, the bagpipes. Geologist by inclination and education, almost a lawyer by accident.

My main interest is Scottish, French, Flemish and Breton folk dancing, but I recently took out my old school recorder and started playing in sessions as my other instrument is the piano and not exactly portable.
