We are a mostly six piece folk band, mostly based in Brixton, in South London. We play music and songs from many countries, mostly European, and North American, with a solid base of Irish traditional music.

As a young kid in the south London, we listened to Duke Ellington, Django Reinhardt, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee, Beethoven, Dvorak, Stravinsky, American Forces Network Jazz hour, Amalia Rodrigues,

I am London born and bred although I have Scottish and Irish ancestry. I decided to learn the violin aged 8 when my Glaswegian grandfather played me some tunes on his fiddle.
