I’m 61 in 2 days & a transplant to Ireland from the U. S. (17 years now), the result of marrying a girl from Co Roscommon that I met in the San Francisco Bay area. Recently I started taking guitar lessons again after many years of not playing.

I’m a beginner and just becoming familiar with Irish Music so trying to find lots of tunes to practice slowly. I play the low whistle which I’m starting to come to terms with but some way off from being able to join in a session.

I am a poet, vocalist and musical experimenter, I am exploring a wide range of instruments, mainly Clairseach and guitar but also playing with fiddle, mandolin and bouzouki and wish to learn basics of these.
