Hi, I’m Dougie Hill, I’m from Carnoustie, and I play the Fiddle, mainly but I also play the Mandolin, Banjo, Octave Fiddle & a bit of Piano

I play a George ormiston flute I’ve had for years, the long c and f keys are broken, but blue tack does a grand job. I do have a modern flute and piccolo also, plus chieftan low and high d whistles.

I’m from Aragón in North-East Spain, though I’ve been living in Scotland since 2001. I picked up my first whistle at 15 and my first jew’s harp slightly earlier.

I am from Kirriemuir and am learning the fiddle, I love traditional music and am really looking forward to being able to play.
