Hey there, I have just started learning how to play the Low D Whistle.

Fiddle player originally from Fort William. Living in Aberdeen. Studied BMus Folk & Trad music at Newcastle Uni.

Founded in 1973, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig has become internationally recognised as a National Centre for the Gaelic language and culture.

Guitar accompaniment, occasionally bit of Dobro & other strings, used to be a blues/funk/man but living in West Highlands loving the trad.

Started the UP about 25 years ago and plateaued after about 10 years. So no blame accrues to my teachers, Harry Lawson (Edinburgh) and Christy O‘Leary (Sweden?).
