Here are the names in Gaelic from the sleeve notes. How many of them can you recognise?
Fiddles - Sean O’Cathain, Sean O’Duibhir, Sean O’Ceallaigh, Seosamh O’Riain.
Flutes - Micheal O’Tiobraide, Micheal O’Concubhair.
Accordion - Padraig O’Briain.
Piano - Brid Ni Laifearta.

Comhaltas really should re-release this.

You probably know this already but those that don’t understand Irish, here is the musicians list in English -
Fiddles: Sean Keane, John Dwyer, John Kelly, Joe Ryan

Is it still possible to get this recording in shops?
Only ever released as an LP, as far as I know. Perhaps I can help. I’ll be in touch.
I bought this recording on tape years ago. It’s just about worn out by now …
Track 10
The first tune here is "Drag her Across the Road". Throw it Across appears to be another title for The Humours of Toomagh, which is the final tune in this selection.
