This recording is a real gem. Duncan Dyker, several times National Mod solo champion on fiddle, plays classic and lesser-known tunes from various Scottish music collections. Beautiful, old-fashioned playing accompanied by piano. On several tracks, ex-Battlefield Band member Dougie Pincock joins on flute, whitle, and small pipes. This is another great recording of this year. A must!
