Cracking stuff from Creagh (fiddle) and Coffey (box), backed by Sean O Loinsigh (bouzouki). Ossian Records (OSS CD 112). http://www.ossian.ie

Agreed with Aidan. Splendid playing from all parties, nice understated Alec Finn-style bouzouki backup from Sean. This set is reasonably consistent with the repertoire Seamus was still playing in Cork city about 3 years ago. Coffey is also heard on the “Irlande” disc with Frankie Gavin and Artie McGlynn, but I think he sounds even better here. The set that opens with “The Providence,” especially, is the the one that sold me on playing C#/D box.

Grand stuff altogether.

Just got this CD as a Christmas present. Fantastic album.
