Why do people post recordings and then not have anything to say about them ?
This is one of my all time favourite CDs. Davey Spillane brung together musicians form both sides of the atlantic ocean. In an interview Davey told the album was recorded in about two days in the studio.
It is a brilliant blend of Irish and American trad, bluegrass, blus and on Beatles track. I love it!
Complete Tune Listing?
It would be great to see all of the tunes listed for each of the tracks.
Set Johny Doran tribute- tunes

Re: Atlantic Bridge
Got this when it was first released 1988, following break up of Moving Hearts. Thought it was ok at the time but not great, seems to get worse everytime I hear it. Just doesnt work somehow. Ive always wondered how so many outstanding musicians could just not sound good. If you want to hear Irish music interpreting other styles check out the Chieftains and avoid this.
