When i heard this i thought i was in heaven

i love this recording… i saw it in a shop and i bought it cause i had heard about donal lunny and… when i arrived home and listened to it… i got really amazed… from the first to the last song it’s a wonderful recording… i wish i could see one day all those musicians on stage…

I used to have the cd, but lost it in a move some 8 or 9 years ago. I’ve looked for it online, but can’t find it. I saw them play at the Iron Horse in Northampton, MA a few years back and bought the cd at the show.

On my CD of Coolfin, the last reel in the Glentown medley is The Steampacket. Was reminded and looked for this set earlier as that tune is a great finisher. I’ve edited the listing above to point to what I believe is the tune with no offence intended to Proinsios, the original poster of this album. I see The Steampacket settings listed here also show the alternative title, The Mountain Lark, the original listing for this album which appears separately as quite a different tune.
