This CD came up in a recent discussion on Cello playing in ITM so I thought it might be a good time to post it.

Sorry guys ‘n gals. forgot to say, this CD is actually called ’THE ROBIN’.
Pete McClements, Edinburgh, composed a tune with that name, many moons ago which, if I remember correctly, appeared on the first Jock Tamson’s Bairns LP?

Pete McClements’stune “The Robin” was written for his wife Jan, who - as amatter of interest - once attended my mandolin class, and still sings with Sangstream (http://www.sangstream.org.uk/).

“The Atholl Highlanders” is played as a slow air - and it works, for me anyway. Just under 8 mins, I seem to recall.
