The Tie That Binds

This should have been posted long ago. Like a dream session. It’s worth noting that flutist Kevin Crawford (Moving Cloud) appears on tracks 1, 8 and 10.

Joe Derrane (accordion), Frankie Gavin (fiddle), Seamus Eagan (banjo), Jerry O’Sullivan (uillean pipes), Carl Hession (piano), Zan McLeod (acoustic guitar and bouzouki), and Kevin Crawford, as mentioned before. Shanachie 78009.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. This is actually a Joe Derrane album. He produced it and wrote some of the tunes. I had initially given him top billing in this stellar lineup, but owing to the lack of space (I assume) it was turned into *various artists*.

Kevin Crawford’s name was omitted from list of players on the outside front cover of the packaging and from the list printed on the CD itself.
