Ten comments

July 2006 release by Roscommon flute player,Dave Sheridan
joined by a host of local musicians including Brian Rooney,Junior Davey and Seamie O’Dowd.

"Our Beautiful tradition", "Enjoy Your Stay" and "In Sheridan’s Guesthouse" are composed by Dave Sheridan.

Has anyone the right name for the last reel in set #15? It starts with Dave’s own compositions (polka and a reel), and finishes up with a reel which he hadn’t the name for, but calls "Safe Home" here.

Dave Sheridan’s from Killargue, north of Drumkeerin in County Leitrim, not County Roscommon!

Great flute playing

I agree with Kenny, sheridan is a brilliant flute player. there’s some great tunes on this cd too.

Incorrect tune link on track one, first tune

The first tune, on track one, is listed on the album as "Mulhaire’s", it was entered, as so on here, and subsequently linked to the tune "Mulhaire’s" https://thesession.org/tunes/1473 …it’s the wrong tune!

The actual tune played, is "Carmel O’Mahoney Mulhaire’s" https://thesession.org/tunes/2716

Re: Sheridan’s Guesthouse

Just been listening to this again, and have corrected a few links. Nobody seems to have noticed that track #3 is wrong - or at least it is on the CD I have. First reel is "The Old Maids Of Galway" - second is correct as "The Boy In The Gap" - ends with the 2-part version of "Lord MacDonald’s" commonly known as "The Glentown / Glentaunn" reel.
