I particularly liked the treatment of the air “Banks of Sullane” on this one.
I assume it’s a song tune.

He finishes by playing the tune an octave down. With some tunes (including this one, in A) one can do this on the bottom buttons of a DG melodeon, providing they haven’t been chromaticised, or have their chromatic buttons further down still. It makes for something different.

This has just been reissued again by Topic as part of the label’s 70th anniversary celebration (TSCD 358).
