The Floating BowHand by Jim McKillop

This is a musical documentary on VHS and DVD (the version reviewed here is the VHS) about McKillop’s playing in a wide variety of styles, his gigs, his recording studio activities, his expertise as a violin luthier, his teaching, and even a brief peek into his activities as a biker. The tunes (58 of them) listed aren’t "tracks" as such - they are merely in the order as performed on the video. The origin of any tune that is not Irish is given in parentheses - e.g. Shetland, American, etc.
