Cd from the Sligo group Ceoltoiri Coleman. Nice mix of song, duets, solo and group performances. A CD I’m happy to have.

More info

Just to add a bit more, musicians on this recording are Colm O‘Donnell (flute, whistle, vocals), Colette Gaffney (flute), Domhnaill Hernon (fiddle), Siobhan O’Donnell (vocals, bodhran), Tommy Finn (banjo), Declan Payne (accordion), Mairead Hurley (concertina), Michael Hurley (flute), John McHugh (fiddle), Maria McHugh (piano), and Ann Marie McGowan (fiddle).

I picked this CD up at a festival a couple of years ago. Knew nothing about it really, but I now consider it to be one of those nice, random finds.

Website listed on the CD is for the Coleman Heritage Center at http://www.colemanirishmusic. I just checked and wasn’t having any luck finding this CD on there, but maybe it’s just me. Might have better luck another day. Anyway, worth a look regardless.

Thanks Jason. I didn’t look at the Sleeve Notes until now. It’s great to know Ann Marie McGowan was involved. I often see her in my local session.

No problem. For myself, I knew the playing of Colm O’Donnell, so that really prompted me to buy the CD, but it’s nice to get to hear the other musicians as well that I suspect I wouldn’t otherwise encounter in the States. Random variety is always good for the CD collection.
