Who is/was Florie Brown?

Google search indicates that she was fiddler in a California celtic band called
Golden Bough that is still going after 40 years (i.e. started in 1980).
Nothing against them, but it seems that for a California fiddler to title her
record "Best of Irish Fiddle" is hubris.
