Yep, very few of the standard trad tunes on this album, but it’s definitely worth it nonetheless. She’s a great fiddler and very creative.

Re: Lake Effect
A large number of the original tunes on this album are available in standard music notation in her book Liz Carrol Collected. That Collection and her second are well worth purchasing if you read music. The tunes are written almost exactly as they’re played on the album which has allowed me to easily play along. Many of her other albums include tunes from both her books. I found that you can get either physical or digital copies of both books on her website.
