Flower Of The Red Mill

Sarah Blair’s fiddle playing of the music on “Flower of the Red Mill” is clear, sweet, bright, and compelling. An experienced session player, fiddle teacher and contradance musician, Sarah plays some of the tunes unaccompanied and others in duets or trios comprised variously of Paul Groff on concertina or guitar, Ben Power on flute, Benedict Koehler on uilleann pipes, Hilari Farrington on harp, and Colin McCaffrey on guitar---all are brilliant. This well-engineered recording clearly captures the power of the music and the skill of its players.
