Lineage

This is Angus MacColl’s first solo CD. He is an all-rounder being an accomplished competitor in that style of piping but he also has the hands and musicality to play just about anything.

The Clan MacColl title refers to the lineage of MacColl pipers of whom, apart from Angus, the most notable is John MacColl who composed several tunes that have stood the test of time. John MacColl was also an all-rounder in that on the same day he won prizes in piping at the Highland games he would often also win prizes in dancing and athletics.
