Probably the best album that Tommy ever made, this entirely solo LP was released by CCÉ in 1976 (CL 13) and it beggars belief that it has never been reissued in CD format.

A fantastic album. but why the self-glorifying album names i wonder? oh well…

Not sure what your point is, fiddle85. The album’s title was certainly not chosen by Tommy.

Jackson’s

Could someone tells us if the first reel : Jackson’s is already in this site on another name ?

thanks

How can I get a copy of this recording?

I’ve tried to get in touch with Comhaltas Archive, but their web site won’t allow me to have more than 30 seconds of each track (so frustrating). I tried to sign up to their we site, but there seems to be a problem. I’ve tried to contact several branches of Comhaltas, to no avail. Any ideas?

The links given above don’t seem to lead anywhere!

Does anyone know the correct name for the strathspey after Bovaiglie’s plaid?I don’t think the highlander’s farewell is right…
