This is the second album by Aileach, dates from 1977, and was again released by EMI (LEAF 7014). The band’s line-up is the same as the debut album, though now Bernard Heaney’s name is spelt correctly in the credits and Pat McCabe plays no fewer than six different instruments.
The album’s producer was Leo O’Kelly of Tír na nÓg.
Is this Dinnie McLaughlin and Co. from up around Buncranna Inish Owen.
I believe that’s correct "friel". I saw him play with "Aileach" on a TV programme some years ago, and also heard the band once on Radio Scotland, probably late 70s/early 80s.
