Carolan’s Receipt: The Music of Carolan, Vol. 1

The best Carolan album I’ve heard so far. Derek Bell keeps the sound very authentic by using mostly a traditional wire-strung harp, the same kind of harp Carolan himself would have used in his time. Derek is also joined by The Chieftains on tracks 4, 8, 10, and 13.
