Uiscedwr are a three piece playing contemporary trad./trad. fusion. Bundles of energy, oodles of fun - and Cormac and Anna are some of the nicest most genuine people I’ve ever met.
There’s something for everyone here. Except perhaps if you are a hardened traditionalist and signed up member of the folk police - in which case youll hate everything about it! The menu is varied pulling from many traditions (Irish, Scottish, Yiddish) served with a dosing of flair and world rhythms and other various influences such as cuban.
You’ve just gotta hear them. For me they are up there with LAU. Just amazing.
Among the accolades, Uiscedwr were winners of the BBC2 Young Folk Award. If you want to know more about Uiscedwr seek out:

Specifically I think this album is the better than Circle (haven’t heard the new Uiscedwr Big Band CD yet - hey Christmas is coming!). For me this is the definitive Uiscedwr sound and feel.
Track titles
The track titles are not as shown on the CD. The reason for this is simple. The way the session works is by linking tunes to recordings. By using set names instead of individual tune names this process is defeated. So I have listed the tunes not the set name to make sure everyone can find the bits they want!
