Anyone who saw this fiddle-pipes duo’s contribution to RTÉ’s ‘The Full Set’ series should head immediately to http://www.pipers.ie/ to acquire a copy of their debut album. It’s as stunning as their TV performance and, courtesy of producers/engineers John Blake and Paul Gurney, completely free of the reverb which blights so many contemporary releases.
Re. the two ‘Paddy Killoran’s’ - track 6 is a jig and track 15 is a reel.
