A Splendid Notion

Fantastic album from the Shooglenifty mandolinist with James Mackintosh on percussion.

A whole album of just mandolin and percussion and it works so well!

Hypnotic

the best trad mando recording I’ve ever heard by miles. The settings are fresh, swing and really hypnotic. As soon as the Cd ends I want to start again. The percussion is a unique approach but works brilliantly IMO. Sure any mando player (and all others) will be delighted with this gem!
