Y Glerorfa yn Fyw
Y glerorfa is an orchestra of Welsh traditional instruments (and a bass guitar!). It was formed in 2006, the 25th aniversary of Clera (a society for Welsh traditional instuments). It has over 60 members, 44 of whom made this recording in Y Galeri, Caernarfon, April 2009. Y glerorfa was the first act in the 2009 Eisteddfod opening concert on 31 July and the CD was launched the next day on the Eisteddfod field. The CD includes 24 fiddles, 11 harps, 8 flutes, 4 pibgorn (hornpipes), 2 pipers and the bass - plus singing and clogging.

Nice album!

I found this segment from track 1 on YouTube. It’s not the whole track that’s on the album, but is still interesting nonetheless because it contains more background from the performance compared to the version on the album.
