Re: The Fiddler’s Friend

I just mentioned this recording to my friend Dave Allen today, and he pointed out that he took the cover photo of Barbara MacDonald Magone’s hands at the keyboard, with a fiddle on the upper right edge. Dave is a fine fiddler and piper (Galician gaita) himself, and Barbara is a long-time friend and local player, living north of San Diego in Southern California.

She’s brilliant, so find and listen to this album!
