Pipe and Fiddle
This recording comes from two brothers, Kenneth & Angus MacKenzie of Mabou Mines in Cape Breton. They have strong South Uist and Lochaber connections. Both brothers play pipes but Kenneth just plays fiddle here. Angus is well known for playing Highland and border pipes and whistle with Daimh. Their brother Calum joins on piano and solos on track 5. Other stalwarts from the Scottish and Cape Breton scenes accompany.

Ceol agus craic….
& piano, & guitar… All very nicely delivered… Now all I have to do is chase up a copy for myself. I’ve only had the pleasure fleetingly, on loan… Sigh! 😉
Re: Pìob Is Fidheall
I love this CD; one of my favourites of all time. Every musician on this is top shelf… Kenneth is also a terrific piper, but sticks to fiddle on this. Top marks.
