Track 6 …
Track 6 is interesting.
On The Long Grazing Acre, the final track is “Kitty O’Neill’s/The Kerry Jig”.
Kitty O’Neill’s has been the subject of much discussion in thesession.
Here … some years earlier … Paddy plays the same set and simply calls it “The Ballintore Jig”. He’s developed the set over the years, the “Long Grazing Acre” version being a much more elaborate setting (and the recording features a little bit of multi-tracking).
By the way … Arty McGlynn’s guitar playing is just outstanding on this album. Any guitar player worth his or her salt will listen with amazement.
