This album is pretty good. Is has a simple & relaxed feel to it. They mix tunes with vocals here and there.

Good album with interesting / tasteful ensemble arrangments

My favourite recordings are usually simple solo or duet instrumentals. And the more ‘trad’ the better. However I enjoy all PQ+LL recordings. Bought this one after seeing them in Camden last year.
I can find ‘electronic keyboards’ intrusive in traditional music, but Pete Quinn’s playing and arrangements are an exeption to the rule. The ensemble sound makes for very pleasant listening.
Great final set (among others) - but what is that Gan Ainm tune that follows Chapel Bell. It seems very familiar, and’s real fun to play.
