Debut from newish Scottish group Mànran. They formed last summer, and have since played at festivals including HebCeltFest, Celtica and Celtic Connections. I think they’re mainly Highlands & Islands blokes. The only way is up?

Norrie MacIver - Vocals, guitar
Gary Innes - Accordion, keyboards
Ewen Henderson - Fiddle, Highland pipes, whistle, vocals
Calum Stewart - Uilleann pipes, wooden flute
Ross Saunders - Bass guitar, vocals
Scott Mackay - Drums, percussion
Guesting is Mr. Phil Cunningham

I’ll post my thoughts on the album later. I’m expecting great things, as their Banchory gig was fantastic.
