Renditions of traditional Scottish music

Very nice arrangements for solo harp of some old Scottish music.

The Ancient Harp Of Scotland by William Jackson

Robin Williamson did something seemingly comparable way back in 1986, when he made the two-volume album called “Legacy Of The Scottish Harpers”: he was trying to get at the remnants of the Mediaeval and slightly later Scottish harping repertoire. At that time, the harp was central to the music of the Scottish court.
