Andy & Manus

I was very surprised to discover the other day that none of Andy M.’s recordings had been posted here. He toured for a while as a duo with Manus Lunny after the demise of “Silly Wizard”, and recorded this album in Edinburgh in 1987.
He has 4 original songs, 2 traditional Scottish and 2 traditional Irish songs. Manus takes lead vocal on John Connolly’s song, the title track, “Dublin Lady”.
Guest musicians include Phil Cunningham, Aly Bain, and Sean Og Potts.
There are some truly great tracks on this album, and it’s a reminder of how Andy is one of few singers equally at home singing Irish songs as well as Scottish.
