Take A Chance - Stockton’s Wing

Very surprised that this recording hadn’t been listed. Released in 1980, on the Tara label, this was the band’s 2nd album, I believe, and there is a lot of very good playing on it indeed. The emphasis was still on traditional instrumental music - 7 tracks, plus 3 songs. I reckon that this was the first recording by Irish musicians of Scott Skinner’s "Cameron Highlanders", which has been recorded by several others since, most notably, the Mulcahys.
