Five comments

I bought this at a Joe Burke tribute concert with Pat Kane (Joe’s brother-in-law) and Ken VanEtten, organized by Bridget Burke. There are four volumes of live recordings. This one features Johnny (Accordion) Cronin and Terry Feeley, recorded live at Eagle Tavern in Manhattan in 1992.

The first part of track 1 is Boys of the town, but labeled on the CD as Jackson’s Bottle of Brandy.

Quality?

How good is it. I am a huge fan of Johnny Cronin. Can you here him through the recording?

It’s really well-recorded-- the banjo is front-and-center, but well-mixed. Definitely a good one!

All of the tunes feature Cronin prominently, since it’s just a trio. I particularly love the box and banjo combination in The Galway Belles set!
