Solo fiddle, mostly, and excellent
The liner notes have lots of detailed info about the tunes.
I have to recuse myself from commenting further, because I know Dale Russ, and his fiddling has been a major inspiration to me, for some years now. 🙂

Oh, nobody wants to hear me gush. 😉 Well, okay, I will add that Dale also plays guitar on a few of the tracks; "The Lament for Owen Roe O’Sullivan" is solo guitar.

Just stumbled across this album on cdbaby. really good stuff. I normally don’t like players who are as ‘clean’ as this, but he’s got a rhythm and bounce that immediately put a big smile on my face!
