The Kitchen Jam Band

The Kitchen Jam Band formed in 2004 to play for Durango area contra dances. Since then the band has created a dynamic and unique performance style drawing from worldwide influences of celtic music. The Kitchen Jam Band released its first recording “Cook’n Up A Storm” in 2012. Selected portions of “The Gael/The Kiss” from this album were utilized by USA’s TV show “The Burn Notice” in Season 7’s second episode – “Forget Me Not.” A second CD is in production. Current members of the band include: Jo Ann Beegles – piano, Ken Beegles – accordion, vocals, Maria Blair – fiddle, cello, dance, Lyn Boyer – vocals, mandolin, Bob Condon – bodhran, percussion, vocals, Barry Longwell – whistle, vocals, percussion, Diana Longwell – guitar and vocals, Elizabeth Vaught-Schaefer - 5 string fiddle, spoons, bouzouki.
