Remember Cassettes?

A really pleasant effort by the Limerick-based Comholtas branch listed above. Produced by Tim Collins in 1996, it was recorded by Gary Shannon at a school in Toarnafulla. "The Humours of Tournafulla" was written by Danny Lenihan of Oxford, England (formerly of Mount Collins, County Limerick). "Ballyneety Walls" is sung by Donna Mulcahy. Mary O’Neill sings on track eight. The "Polkas" on track nine are credited to Timmy O’Connor.

Re: Teaspach Na nog

I was just going through digitizing some of my old cassettes and ran across this! Humours of Tournafulla is a fun tune and I wish people would play it! I met these kids 20 years ago when I was in Ireland and got this recording at that time.

Re: Teaspach Na nog

Ha! I was there 20 years ago and got the cassette after meeting the gang and watching them perform.
