Re: 16 Tracks of Traditional Irish Music on Fiddle From Longford & Clare
Completely solo fiddle recording - no accompaniment whatsoever - by a fine fiddler born in C0. Longford, but resident for many years in Co. Clare. I have enjoyed hearing Eamon playing in sessions in Mullagh during the Willie Clancy Summer School weeks over the years. He released this CD in 2014.
His music is very much influenced by the Co. Clare fiddlers whom he admired such as Bobby Casey and Junior Crehan, and this is also reflected in the selection of tunes.
A very fine “pure drop” fiddle recording.

PS - surprised that this hasn’t been posted here before. It does seem to be available from Custy’s in Ennis.

Only place I’ve found thus far to be able to hear any of this…
