Good 2 Go

Scott Macmillan ~ guitar
Colin Grant ~ fiddle

Scott Macmillan & Colin Grant have joined forces creating an exciting new Music Duo. They are not your average Fiddle/Guitar Duo. GOOD2GO is an innovative and collaborative recording between these two immensely talented instrumentalists, composer/guitarist Scott Macmillan and composer/fiddler, Colin Grant, both of whom have robust music careers. For this recording Scott and Colin spent many hours at Scott’s home in Cape Breton working out the details of this, their 1st duo recording; GOOD2GO. It was released to much anticipation and enthusiasm.

Scott and Colin’s expressive, fun loving and intricate music will have you dancing in your seat. Colin Grant’s hard driving performances have him on the forefront of the East Coast traditional music scene. His versatility gives him experiences in a variety styles. Colin’s rigorous schedule sees him performing regionally and international, having toured France, Tasmania, the US, and the UK. Scott Macmillan is driven to create music. His acclaimed ‘Celtic Mass for the Sea’, has been performed twice at Carnegie Hall. In 2014 Scott received the Portia White Prize, Nova Scotia’s Top Artist Prize. Playing a significant role expanding audiences for Atlantic Canadian for over 40 years, Rita MacNeil acknowledged him as an integral contributor to her success, He’s played an equally pivotal role with the Rankin Family Band, Symphony Nova Scotia’s Maritime Pops and Nova Scotia Mass Choir.
