Liddy (fiddle) and Hynes (flute) are a joy to listen to. A laidback album, free of any messing about. Understated, spot-on guitar backing by Rob Sharer.

Watch out for track 15, where the lads are joined by a rake of dancers who step out the Caledonian Set. (I’m sure I’m not alone in finding the tramp-tramp of set-dancers’ feet to be the best form of percussion in Irish music!)
