Aoibheann and Pamela Queally from Kilmaley, Co. Clare (Concertina and Fiddle): a true representative of West Clare music, launching their new album in 2019. The pair have grown up playing music together, being influenced by the rhythmic and melodic style of Clare tradition.

Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
Just purchased the digital album, it’s quite nice. Good tune choices, and for once “Master Crowley’s” and “The Roscommon” are in different sets, which is a nice change. 🙂
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
Can someone with the album confirm the “9th of July” title links to the same tune as on the album? I heard that track in Custy’s and I’m sure the first tune wasn’t the one linked here, unless I’m going mad.
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
Forget my comment. I am going mad.
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
It was the Paddy Fahy tune that was driving me mad. It’s linked to the correct thesession.org tune now.
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
I’m wondering about the tune labeled “Hanley’s”, third tune on track 10, and whether it’s on the database at all. I couldn’t find it with an admittedly nonexhaustive search via ABC.

Posted here by gianmarco 15 years ago. #1664. It all depends on how you spell Patsy “Hanley / Hanly”.
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
@Kenny got it, thanks. As I said, I tried an ABC search (I’m convinced tune names in the form of possessives are particularly unreliable) and couldn’t find it.
Re: Beyond The Bellows and The Bow
This is one great album, beautifully arranged and played with very sensitive accompaniment.
I can’t stop listening to it.
