Is there any more information available about this recording?

Re: New Leaf

Hi Zorro - you got me curious. I found the recording on "iTunes", although it’s not the fella up above right. 🙂
Don’t know why it doesn’t link to the right recording. Released July 2019. The singer is certainly North American. A trio by the sound of it, singer / guitarist, fiddle and [ button ? ] accordion. Competent enough players, I quite like the relaxed pace they play at. Good value for money, without adding up the times accurately, there’s well over an hour’s music here.
Aha… "Googled" "New Leaf, Irish music", and voila :

Re: New Leaf

Thanks, Kenny,

I’m really glad I asked. The trio has that mellow west of Ireland sound which you don’t often find in North American bands.

I tracked down its website. https://www.newleafirishband.com/

Good stuff,

Re: New Leaf

Yes, a trio. I don’t know what the deal with that record that got linked above. Anyway New Leaf is John Tabb on button and Kira Jewitt on fiddle. I forget the guitarist’s name at the moment. Sort of Springfield, Massachusetts area. They get down (here) to Connecticut sometimes. Super cool people.

Re: New Leaf

You don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to find his name, and why should he not be given the same respect as the other 2 ? - the singer / guitarist’s name is Adam Braunschweig.

Truth. Sorry about that. I wanted to respond while I was looking at the comments, before I forgot.
