Hello,
I just ordered this album, it sounds great; but does anyone know anything about the tuning(s) Steve uses on these tunes? I’ve only ever heard him in Drop D or DADGAD (I think) but that doesn’t mean much. Any insights would be very much appreciated, thanks.

@Carbaiste, the liner notes say the following:
"Five selections are played on a Dowina nylon strung guitar and nine on a Maton steel strung guitar. The predominant tuning is CGDGBE, with a capo. Tracks 2 and 12 are DGDGBE and track 5 is tuned in standard."
I haven’t tried to work out any of his arrangements on guitar, but playing along with ‘Celia Connellan’ on mandolin, the pitch was C#, so the capo would’ve been on the first fret for that tune at least.
Totally beautiful album.
