A new release from two truly gifted musicians. This is about the best Scottish fiddle and pipe duet you will hear. Mike and Alasdair have been playing together for nearly 20 years, much of that time with The Battlefield Band, and that comes across in their music. There is no accompaniment but the sound is raw, full and satisfying. Seemingly they got into the right frame of mind for the recording by living on the beach in Southern California!
